Our Story
It started with a few drones and a young woman determined to capture better imaging for rail projects. Joined by a renowned rail transit program and construction manager and an equally talented freight rail designer and innovator, the trio combined their decades of rail experience. By nurturing talent and delivering projects as promised, Zephyr Rail is the rail expert railroad owners and transit agencies rely on.

Our mission is simple: no matter what role we play as individuals or as a team, we strive for excellence in all that we do. Ultimately, whether designing in the office or inspecting in the field, capturing data with our drones or processing images with our software, what each of us does in our daily work affects the rail right-of-way. The right-of-way is not an abstract concept: it has an owner, has multiple users, runs through a community, past houses and businesses and schools, and each of those individuals—each of those people—deserve our very best.
