MEET OUR LEADERS

Mr. Mahoney serves as the Vice President of Technical Services and brings more than 30 years of extensive experience in track design. He has served as a Design Engineer and a Project Engineer throughout his career. He has successfully engineered track alignments for Class 1 Railroads, Commuter Rail, and Light Rail/Transit projects, encompassing mainline track, yard tracks, industrial leads, and complex rail systems. His expertise extends to the design of commuter rail stations, intermodal yards, grading and drainage, roadways, bikeways, street utilities, traffic control, and construction staging plans. Beyond project work, Mr. Mahoney contributes to his team’s professional development by delivering specialized training seminars that deepen staff expertise in critical areas of railroad engineering. He holds BS and MS degrees in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, and he is a Professional Engineer in the State of California.
